My mom and I went to The Ranch House restaurant today. Which is about 50 years old. My mom talked about going there as a girl and getting their desserts. Of course, we ended our dinner by sharing a slice of coconut cream pie.
I love to learn things that I never knew about our history. It’s interesting to learn about who and how people lived where we live now one hundred years ago.
In the year 1913 America was Grand Central Terminal and the Panama Canal’s construction finally ended, National Woman’s Rights Party formed and Ford motor company started the first assembly line.
History is in our everyday lives.
